The Real About Me

Originally from New Mexico, I now live in the heart of Phoenix, Arizona.   My name is Nicole, I am a 22 year old writer and poet.  I have many life experiences that I hope you will be able to relate to as you sift through the poetry and thoughts on this site.   I am from a large family but have managed to branch off to another state in the hope’s of finding an unfiltered passion that belongs only to me.   I have been on my own in this sense since I was 12 when I began to question the traditions of religion and family.  I was raised as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses.  The views given to me on lifestyle expectations from this group at an early age  have been challenging to break and rearrange in my mind.  I am a scorpio and am known to follow emotional attachments stubbornly.   My original passion was film.  I have since broken off and found the ultimate fullfillment in writing.  A picture is worth a thousand words and it is my mission to find those words.  This about me is under construction for now.
